What You Will Learn

We’ll help you re-engineer your brain to think in Objective-C, Xcode 4, the iOS SDK, Interface Builder and Instruments.

The Architecture

You’ll learn to construct and apply each piece of a mobile app, including views and view controllers, core data, and more.

Professional Practices

You’ll learn how to apply drawing and animations, make DRY apps for all iOS devices, conduct performance optimization, debugging and refactoring.

Tech Talk

Through blogging, meetups, guest lectures and facilitated conversations with Chicago’s mobile community, you’ll catch yourself “teching out” with the best of them.

Teamwork

You’ll hone necessary job skills including Agile development, cooperative coding, “yes, and” flexibility, project management, and more.

You’ll become an easy hire by learning from code walkthroughs, career coaching, interview practice sessions, and core knowledge indexing.

Design for Developers

Working with UI and UX experts, you will learn how to be nice to designers as well as the basics of making your app shine in the app store.

Agile Development

From delivering working code to responding to change, we will help you understand the Agile Manifesto and how it is used in the industry.

Git and Source Control

Teamwork is one thing, but collaborating with multiple developers on the same code can be challenging. We will teach you how to manage your code.
